Three new questions for haeday.org’s ’30 second survey’ have gone live and can be answered on the site’s homepage:

  • How did you hear about hae day :-)?
  • How much impact do you think HAE attacks have on an individual and their family?
  • What is your primary hope for hae day :-) in your country?

The theme for the latest questions is hae day :-) itself. May 16 is now less than two months away and it is hoped that the survey will get people thinking about the day’s purpose and how they can get involved.

Launched at the same time as haeday.org in January 2012, the previous set of ’30 second survey’ questions attracted 138 respondents. An analysis of results revealed, amongst other findings, that most people felt low awareness of HAE to be the greatest overall challenge facing patients.

As well as taking the ’30 second survey’, there are many ways to participate in hae day :-) through haeday.org. Activities include sending a smile, making a donation to support HAEi national member organizations and sharing details of planned events on an interactive map.
